Hundreds of thousands of people are protesting in Egypt for the eighth consecutive day of demonstrations against the regime of President Hosni Mubarak.

The demonstrations are thought to be the biggest yet, with organisers aiming for a million people on the streets of Cairo. Protests have also been reported in Alexandria, Suez, Luxor and many other cities across the country.

A “day of revolution” is taking place in Egypt today as people across the country join demonstrations.

Protest organisers were hoping for a huge nationwide. turnout. in marches and rallies across the country.

Capello: Players should set example.

England manager Fabio Capello has blamed the amount of money footballers are paid for the recent scandals regarding players’ private lives. 

“It is not only here. In Italy, in Germany, in Spain, in every country where football is so important it is the same problem," he said. 

Capello admitted that fame and riches at such a young age can be difficult to deal with. He added that he hoped his players would make sacrifices for the good of their careers.
