Image for Facebook reverses controversial privacy changes

Facebook has reversed a decision to share users phone numbers and addresses with third party websites.

A Facebook blog post states that as a response to "useful feeback" about their recent changes, they will be disabling this feature.

They had hoped that the feature would let users share details with "a shopping site to streamline the checkout process, or sign up for up-to-the-minute alerts on special deals directly to your mobile phone"

Asian technology rivals hope to take advantage of any Apple losses resulting from Steve Jobs decline in health.

Analysts in Asia believe that reliance on the talismanic CEO will slow Apple's growth in his absence.

Jobs acts as a creative and inspirational head of the company behind the iPhone and iPad and has been responsible for much of Apple's success.

CO2 emissions: linked to climate change

Pledges made by the government regarding its carbon capture and storage plans could create over 100,000 new jobs and inject £6.5 billion a year into the UK’s economy by 2030.

The strategy, outlined by the Department of Energy and Climate Change today, claims to improve industrial growth, enhance the UK’s energy security and expects to address the issue of climate change.

Steve Jobs : will unveil new Apple products

The Apple Tablet is being unveiled today in San Francisco amid speculation about the other new products Apple will be revealing.

The company behind the cultural phenomenon iPod and iPhone has been interested in the concept of a tablet computer since around 1983. At the time a company called “Frog Design” was said to be working on ideas for a tablet computer.
