New proposals for the future of Penzance harbour and the Isles of Scilly ferry are being presented at a public meeting in the town tonight.
West Cornwall MP Andrew George, who represents Penzance, St Ives and the Isles of Scilly, has come up with an alternative plan.
The controversial £44 million pound scheme to build a passenger and freight ferry terminal has been the cause of many arguments.
Alec Robertson, the Conservative leader of Cornwall Council, has accused Mr George of being "irresponsible and divisive".
The new campaign proposes an alternate plan for Penzance harbour's revamp. The current options are:
Option PZ will be revealed tonight at 7:30pm at the Chapel Street Methodist Chapel, Penzance.
